Ronny Nguyen opened Nón Lá with his son Tommy in December 2020, a few doors into East 4th Street. A handful of tables. Conical-hat lamps over the counter — the same nón lá the place is named for. And phở the delivery reviews call “better than Madame Vo.” (Valerie’s words, not ours.)
“Authentic homecooking” is how the family puts it. Fifty-five things on the menu, cooked the way they’re cooked at home, eleven to nine, every single day.
